THE FIVE MOST INSANE SHOTS OF THE 2023 MASTERS
Want to see the extremely difficult made to look ridiculously easy?
Here’s are the best five shots of the 2023 Masters:
- CAMERON SMITH
In Friday’s second round, Cam Smith had a horrible lie in the fairway bunker on the eighth hole but went on to prove fortune does favour the brave. With the ball well below his feet, he slashed a fairway wood out 264 yards and watched it nestle 17 feet from the pin — from where he would make the best eagle of the week.

2. PHIL MICKELSON
Phil Mickelson is one of the most exciting players to watch and in Thursday’s opening round he played driver off the deck twice in eight holes — including this incredibly difficult one off the pine straw. Yes, he did make birdie from there.
3. JON RAHM
Green jacket winner Jon Rahm made the extremely difficult look easy on the 14th hole in the final round. After overcooking a fade with his driver, Rahm slung a low curling slice around the trees in front of him. His ball hit the green, took the slope and finished just four feet from the notoriously difficult rear pin location. He made the birdie to extend his lead to four shots.

4. BROOKS KOEPKA
Big Bad Brooks was back to near his imperious best for much of the 2023 Masters and his second shot into the par 5 eighth hole on Friday was classic Brooksie. From the fairway he absolutely pummelled his four iron 250 yards to finish within 13 feet of the pin. He made the eagle putt to reach 10-under.

5. RYAN FOX
Burly Kiwi Ryan Fox almost aced the famous par 3 16th hole in Sunday’s final round. Fox hit a seven iron beyond the pin and watched as it slowly began to trickle down the pin before settling an inch or two from the cup. It was Fox’s first Masters and he was pretty chuffed with his effort.
