DESIGN INSPIRATION

The Latin phrase Tam Arte Quam Marte, meaning As Much by Skill as by Strength, is displayed on the handle. Gold railroad tracks with the number 11 on the back of the bag celebrate one of the course's most challenging holes, bordered by tracks on the right side.

The staff bag's colors of purple, gold and white symbolize the regal heritage of this year's venue, which received Royal designation in 1978 on its centenary. The gold ring around the top of the bag bears the inscription 152nd to mark the 152nd playing of golf's oldest championship. Additionally, a gold ring at the bottom of the bag features two serpents, representing the host venue’s seal.
