The PXG GEN3 0311 Xtreme Performance (XP) Irons are made for players looking for easy-to-hit clubs that offer significant forgiveness and distance gains. The body is five-times forged from 8620 soft-carbon steel. The back surface is then CNC-milled to perfect every curve and angle. Innovative Impact Reactor Technology, powered by PXG’s DualCOR and the world’s thinnest face, delivers incredible distance while dampening harsh vibrations. XP Irons feature the ideal balance of top rail thickness, blade length and offset to inspire confidence at address.

On top of the features & benefits found on all PXG GEN3 irons, the XP features the largest blade length in the line-up, increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) about the centre of gravity (CG) creating a more forgiving clubhead. As this blade length increases the MOI about the shaft axis also increases, meaning it will take more force to rotate the clubface to square. To counter this effect, the offset of a longer blade must be greater allowing the face to return to square more easily. The thickness of the top line not only promotes confidence but also has the optigraphic effect of balancing the proportions of a club head. The GEN3 0311 XP has the widest sole in the range moving the CG deeper in the club head creating more dynamic loft and a higher launch as well as increasing the playable bounce, making it less likely to dig into the turf.
