A new KING will ascend to the throne of the Cobra KING line in 2023.
Cobra’s KING iron range has long had a select band of loyal subjects, those who are more concerned with feel, workability and flight control rather than “explosive distance™”.
Skewed towards pros and single-digit-to-mid-teen handicappers, the Cobra KING iron and hybrid line-up is poised for a long and successful reign in 2023 and beyond.
FIT FOR A KING
Stylish simplicity, soft-as-butter feel and exceptional feedback encapsulates the new Cobra KING iron experience.
The Rickie Fowler-inspired tangerine highlights of yesteryear are history, with a chrome-on-chrome finish the defining aesthetic for 2023.
On the exterior, the KING iron line-up doesn’t veer too far in appearance from classic shaping, with an assortment of muscle back blades and compact cavity backs.
But it’s what you don’t, or can’t, conceivably notice that makes the Cobra KING line-up such a supercharged players’ iron offering.
A five-step forging process is the major contributor to the super soft feel at impact, aided by a vibration-killing TPU insert in the KING Tour model.
And in the hollow-bodied KING utility iron and its ONE Length compadre, there’s some foam-filled, confidence-boosting speed and forgiveness wrapped up in a players’ iron package.
COBRA KING TOUR IRONS
Tour-worthy attributes such as a soft forged feel, exceptional feedback and a stylish head design make the Cobra KING Tour iron well suited to the rigours of tour-level pro golf and the requirements of low-to-mid handicappers.
Bred for comprehensive workability and flight control, the KING Tour’s compact cavity-back design also offers a dash of welcome forgiveness.
A vibration-damping thermoplastic insert positioned behind the sweet spot softens feel, in tandem with the 5x forged 1025 carbon steel face and body.
And an aluminium medallion, plugged into the rear cavity, optimises weight distribution to the perimeter of the head to enhance forgiveness.
COBRA KING CB IRONS
Traditional cavity back irons, Cobra KING CB irons offer precise feel and feedback.
They are highly playable, with trajectory control and shot shaping their strong points, and the cavity design presents a more forgiving option than KING MB irons.
Cobra KING CB irons are 5x forged from 1025 carbon steel, delivering a timeless feel that will help better players achieve their shotmaking objectives on the course.
COBRA KING MB IRONS
Cobra KING MB irons are classic muscle back blades that are designed to suit the eye of the elite ball striker.
They feature a thinner top line and a more compact head than their KING MB forerunners while the 5x forged 1025 carbon steel provides the feel and feedback that is requisite for the best players in the game.
They are the most precise irons in the KING line-up, with exacting ball flight control and a wealth of shot-making at a player’s disposal.
And the best thing… KING MB irons offer a purity of strike that is without peer – when it’s out of the sweet spot, of course.
COBRA KING CB/MB COMBO IRON SET
The Cobra KING CB/MB flow set is a golfing traditionalist’s dream, pairing long iron cavity backs with short iron blades.
Feedback from Cobra’s tour staff refined the shaping of both the CB (cavity back) and MB (muscle back) irons for pure ball-striking performance across the entire set.
The forgiveness of the CB long irons (4-6) optimises trajectory while the MB irons offer precise distance control and shot shaping in the scoring irons (7-PW).
And the soft forged feel of 1025 carbon steel offers the incredible feel that Cobra KING irons are renowned for.

COBRA KING UTILITY IRON
Designed for the better player, the new Cobra KING utility iron combines versatility and precision, with a splash of forgiveness.
More compact in shape than previous models and crafted from 431 stainless steel, the hollow-body utility irons are filled with a lighter and softer vibration-damping foam that boosts distance and provides a soft feel off the face at impact.
A forged PWRSHELL face flexes and rebounds with maximum efficiency and is paired with the A.I.-designed H.O.T. variable thickness face pattern, with the combination consolidating ultra-fast ball speeds in every loft in the KING utility range.
And 61g of tungsten weighting keeps the centre of gravity low in each KING utility loft, cutting spin for high-launching distance.
Cobra KING utility irons are also available in Cobra’s ONE Length configuration.
COBRA KING TEC HYBRID
Piggybacking Cobra’s H.O.T. and PWRSHELL face design, the KING Tec hybrid features a sleeker and squarer profile.
A new ST118 carbon steel face is paired with a stainless steel body and carbon fibre crown, producing high velocity ball speeds in what is considered the most versatile club in the bag.
And three movable sole weights (2 x 12g and 1 x 2g) and Cobra’s adjustable MyFly loft sleeve offers a range of flight tinkering opportunities.
