Callaway Paradym Drivers, Fairways, Hybrids and Irons
Posted by GolfBox on 4th Jan 2023
A paradigm shift occurs when something is so revolutionary it doesn’t just challenge the status quo, it replaces it entirely. For example, the iPhone. The car. In golf, metal woods.
Callaway are confident their new flagship release of 2023 is destined to shake up the current golfing paradigm. In fact, Callaway are so confident they’ve decided to name it and claim it. Introducing Callaway’s Paradym line-up of Drivers, Fairway Woods, Hybrids and Irons for 2023.
That’s not a typo. It’s spelt Paradym, rather than Paradigm. And certainly not Paradime. Armed with truly ground-breaking technical advancements and design innovation, the Paradym collection offers monstrous gains in speed, stability and forgiveness.
Full carbon framework, A.I. conceived face architecture, Jailbreak tech and progressive tungsten weighting form the basis of 10 unique Paradym models, which are engineered for every possible skill level.
With such paradigm-shifting performance, Callaway are expecting to shift plenty of Paradym in 2023.
Paradym fairways and hybrids offer wide-ranging versatility bundled with performance that is fast and forgiving.
CALLAWAY PARADYM DRIVERS
How do you make a driver that shifts the paradigm like the Paradym?
First you start by stripping everything back and building from the ground up. The lightweight 360˚ carbon fibre chassis at the centre of the action is the big reveal of the new Paradym driver.
Switching to carbon fibre from titanium achieved monumental weight savings, which freed up discretional weight to be redistributed to more beneficial parts of the Paradym head. And when you throw in Callaway’s A.I. expertise to the package, which begins in the face and extends to the famed Jailbreak tech, it’s simple to see why Callaway call the Paradym their longest, fastest and most forgiving driver yet.
With three models, Callaway’s Paradym driver line-up embraces the individual and takes off-the-tee performance to another level.
Driver Technology
360˚ Carbon Chassis
To position mass where it’s most needed the Paradym driver was designed around a lightweight carbon fibre chassis. Weighing 44 per cent less than titanium, it allows more weight to be repositioned low and deep in the head. The result? Maxed out forgiveness for off-centre strikes.
Perimeter Weighting
A 15g adjustable perimeter weight on the rear of the head provides up to 12 yards of shot shaping bias. Setting up a fade or draw-capable Paradym driver is as easy as sliding the weight to the desired position. (Adjustable perimeter weighting is only available on the standard Paradym driver)
Jailbreak A.I.
Callaway’s ubiquitous Jailbreak tech has been finetuned in the Paradym driver, delivering faster ball speeds and more stability. The redesigned Jailbreak is 33 per cent lighter and stiffens the clubhead both horizontally and vertically, maximising energy transfer at impact and boosting ball speeds.
THREE PARADYM DRIVER MODELS
No two golfers swing it exactly the same. That’s why Callaway offer three different versions of the Paradym driver – the Paradym, Paradym X, and Paradym Triple Diamond. Each model offers a different performance profile that will complement a particular swing trait or improve a weakness.
PARADYM DRIVER
Serving up a powerful concoction of distance and forgiveness, the standard Callaway Paradym is the ultimate all-rounder. It is designed to appeal to the broadest range of skill levels and is fully adjustable too: a 15g perimeter weight provides around 12 yards of shot shaping correction.
PARADYM X DRIVER
If extreme forgiveness and no-fuss, low-spinning distance is your thing, then the Paradym X driver will mark your spot. A static 5g weight on the rear of the elongated head pushes mass low for a high-launching, high-MOI masterpiece. The Paradym X also features a slight draw bias to counter a slice.
PARADYM TRIPLE DIAMOND DRIVER
With its extreme low-spin dynamics, the Paradym Triple Diamond is a tour-ready model aimed at elite ball strikers. A more compact head (450cc) and low-launching, neutral ball flight aids its shaping capabilities. Its 14g rear sole weight can be swapped to the front position to cut spin even further.
PARADYM DRIVER FEATURES
Callaway also offer a Women’s Paradym driver and Women’s Paradym X driver. A selection of premium shafts can be installed on the new Callaway Paradym driver series. A Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip is fitted as standard, with a Lamkin ST soft grip featuring on the Paradym women’s driver. Paradym drivers also feature an adjustable hosel, which can alter lofts two degrees higher or lower.

CALLAWAY PARADYM FAIRWAY WOODS
Callaway’s Paradym fairway woods create the perfect one-two attack in partnership with their driver buddies.
They are officially Callaway’s fastest fairway woods in history, with the Jailbreak Batwing stiffening system and a new A.I.-designed Face Cup combining to create such extreme velocities. But in combination with the nifty tungsten speed cartridge, they also boast some sky-high MOI figures for a ladle-full of forgiveness.
The Paradym fairway line-up is the ultimate force out on the fairways.
Fairway Technology
Jailbreak Batwing
Callaway’s Jailbreak Batwing system effortlessly increases ball velocity in Paradym fairways. The Batwing design extends Jailbreak to the edge of the face to reinforce the body of the club. It allows additional face flex, so energy is transferred more efficiently across a wider area of the face.
Forged Carbon Sole
The Forged Carbon sole enables unprecedented weight savings in Paradym fairways that translate directly into performance gains: higher launch, more forgiveness and hefty distance gains.
*Featured in the Paradym and Paradym X Models
Tungsten Speed Cartridge
Paradym fairways are equipped with Callaway’s tungsten speed cartridge, which positions 23g of high-density tungsten where you need it most. The tungsten sets up a CG that is low and forward, optimising launch and spin to create paradigm-shifting speed and distance.
THREE PARADYM FAIRWAY MODELS
Callaway’s Paradym fairway wood collection is impressively versatile, with three models to choose from: the Paradym, Paradym X and Paradym Triple Diamond. Each Paradym model offers unique performance traits to individualise performance, helping golfers get the most speed, forgiveness and performance out of their swing.
PARADYM FAIRWAY
The standard Paradym fairway appeals to the broadest cross section of golfers. Featuring progressive shaping, high-launch characteristics and a neutral ball flight, the line-up extends from 3W-11W. The 3W and 3HL (high launch) feature an adjustable hosel to further refine launch angle.
PARADYM X FAIRWAY
The Paradym X is the highest launching and most forgiving of the three Paradym fairways. With a more upright lie angle, neutral face at address and a forged carbon weight pad on the toe, the Paradym X is slightly draw biased. The 3W is fitted with an adjustable hosel to tune launch.
PARADYM TRIPLE DIAMOND FAIRWAY
The most compact of the Paradym fairway trio, the Triple Diamond is the low-spin Paradym model created for better players. The CG is shifted low and forward through an additional sole weight positioned just behind the face, which reduces spin and creates a penetrating ball flight.
PARADYM FAIRWAY FEATURES
Callaway also offer a Women’s Paradym fairway wood and Women’s Paradym X fairway wood. A selection of premium shafts can be installed on the new Callaway Paradym fairways, with custom shaft fitting also an option. A Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip is fitted as standard and a Lamkin ST soft grip features on Paradym women’s fairways.

CALLAWAY PARADYM HYBRIDS
What’s there not to love about a hybrid, especially the ones Callaway have wheeled out in their Paradym line-up?
The new Paradym hybrids are versatile, easy to launch from just about any lie and are juiced up with some of Callaway’s most powerful, distance-enabling technology.
There are two hybrids in the range – the Paradym and Paradym X – and, performance-wise, each one tinkers around the edges to create a slightly different dynamic. But the Paradym hybrids have a lot in common: they are both long, straight and highly forgiving.
On the lookout for a club to improve your chances out on the course? The Callaway Paradym hybrid and Paradym X hybrid could provide the answer.
Hybrid Technology
Jailbreak Batwing System
Callaway’s legendary Jailbreak Batwing stiffening system is positioned closer to the edge of the head, encouraging more face flex and boosting speed and forgiveness.
Cutwave Sole Design
An all-new Cutwave Sole is designed specifically to cut through the turf with ease, especially from thick rough making Paradym the most versatile family of hybrids Callaway have created.
A.I. Designed Face Cup
A high-strength 455 Face Cup is designed using A.I. to optimize ball speeds and spin across the face. Each model features a unique A.I. pattern to enhance performance in that specific head.
TWO PARADYM HYBRID MODELS
Which easy-launching Paradym hybrid will provide the best performance for you? Callaway provide two options that will suit pros, beginners, and everyone in between.
PARADYM HYBRID
The more compact of the two models, the Paradym hybrid is aimed at golfers who want to keep their shot-shaping options open. It’s still closer to a wood in shape than an iron and as such, is skewed towards forgiveness. But its mid-sized profile is perfect for golfers who want to work the ball off any lie.
PARADYM X HYBRID
Big but not oversized, the Paradym X is the more forgiving model of the two hybrids. However, like all good hybrids should, it retains an exceptional level of versatility. Its wood-shaped profile will suit golfers who want to launch at the ball with confidence, from every lie imaginable.
PARADYM HYBRID FEATURES
Callaway also offer a Women’s Paradym X hybrid. A selection of premium shafts can be installed on the new Callaway Paradym hybrids. A Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip is fitted as standard, with a Lamkin ST soft grip featuring on Paradym women’s hybrids.

CALLAWAY PARADYM IRONS
Chasing some extra distance without sacrificing feel? Or searching for some pop off the face, while retaining the ability to work a little shot shaping/ball flight wizardry?
If so, the Callaway Paradym iron range should 100 per cent be on your radar. The Paradym iron range is unique in the players’ distance iron category.
The distance part of the equation has been seriously beefed up with some A.I. face alchemy, which goes hand-in-hand with some hollow-bodied pyrotechnics.
And with respect to the players’ aspect of the partnership, workability and feel is furnished by a forged face and refined head shaping.
With such a breadth of performance, Paradym irons will be in demand from players across the handicap spectrum.
Iron Technology
Hollow Body Speed Frame
The innovative new hollow-bodied Speed Frame design adds strength and rigidity to the body of the club. Working in conjunction with the AI-designed face cup, it provides the support the face needs to flex and generate impressive speed gains.
Urethane Microspheres
Paradym irons are tuned for superb feel with the addition of Callaway’s vibration-damping microspheres. Supporting the face cup, a slab of urethane embedded with microspheres wards off bad vibrations and improves strike acoustics at impact.
Tungsten Weighting
Paradym irons raise the tungsten stakes with 67g of internal and external weighting. Positioned for maximum effect, the tungsten weighting enhances launch and spin consistency, improves off-centre strike performance and increases forgiveness.
TWO PARADYM IRON MODELS
Callaway Paradym and Paradym X irons are both compelling player’s distance irons in their own multi-faceted way. What’s the difference? One errs towards the players’ side of the equation, the other focuses more on the distance element. Both, however, will not disappoint.
PARADYM IRONS
Paradym irons are the ultimate players’ distance irons, with a fairly compact head shape, thin top line and moderate sole width. They are tuned for playability, without neglecting their distance iron roots, and are targeted at players with a handicap between 4-12.
PARADYM X IRONS
Tuned for distance and aimed at higher handicappers (12 and up), Paradym X irons are ideal for launching shots high and long. Larger than standard Paradym irons, the X model has a thick top line and a wide sole to enhance forgiveness and boost confidence.
PARADYM IRON FEATURES
Callaway also offer a Women’s Paradym X iron. A selection of premium shafts can be installed on the new Callaway Paradym iron range. A Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip is fitted as standard, with a Lamkin ST soft grip featuring on Paradym X women’s irons.
