Callaway Rogue ST Driver, Fairway, Hybrid & Irons (2022)
Posted by GolfBox on 24th Feb 2022
The old saying money can’t buy happiness doesn’t necessarily apply to the new Callaway Rogue ST line-up of clubs.
You see, if said money bought a new Rogue ST driver, fairway wood, hybrid or iron, more speed is guaranteed. And more speed equals more distance. And extra distance, as golfers will confirm, most certainly does bring happiness. It’s a slightly round-about way of saying the Rogue ST is the fastest and most forgiving range of clubs ever created by Callaway.
A.I.-designed faces, Jailbreak tech and optimised tungsten weighting form the bedrock upon which the Rogue ST range is built.
And boasting an impressive 15 different models in total throughout the line-up, Callaway’s Rogue ST is the undisputed No.1 for customised performance in 2022.
Drivers
A quartet of A.I.-inspired Callaway Rogue ST drivers deliver unbelievable performance off the tee.
Fairways & Hybrids
Finely tuned, fast and forgiving, Callaway Rogue ST fairways and hybrids are a force on the fairways.
Irons
Callaway Rogue ST irons redefine distance irons, with four models offering superb, customised performance.
Callaway Rogue ST Drivers
There’s a bit of a theme running through the major components of the new Callaway Rogue ST drivers, which all hint at where Callaway have focused their efforts. Firstly, there’s the Tungsten Speed cartridge. Secondly, there’s a revised Jailbreak Speed Frame. And finally there’s an A.I. designed Flash Face SS22. If you deduced from those three examples that speed gains were on Callaway’s mind with the Rogue ST driver range, well done.
Yes, Rogue ST drivers are faster and longer. But extra speed hasn’t come at the cost of forgiveness because there’s more of that too. A longer and more forgiving driver may sound familiar. But the new Rogue ST driver collection takes it to a whole new level.
Driver Technology
1. Tungsten Speed Cartridge
Weighing up to 26g, the revolutionary new Tungsten Speed Cartridge positions weight where it’s needed most: low and deep in the driver head. It is the impetus behind the Rogue ST drivers’ monstrous MOI and forgiveness and increases ball speed when strikes aren’t out of the middle.
2. Jailbreak Speed Frame
Callaway have turned to blades for their Jailbreak Speed Frame to jack up ball speeds across the entire face. Positioned just behind the face, the A.I.-designed component stiffens the clubhead horizontally and vertically to limit energy wastage at impact and maximise ball speeds.
3. Flash Face SS22
The gurus of artificial intelligent design in golf, Callaway have stepped it up again. Where previous efforts focused on optimising only ball speed, Callaway’s new A.I. analysis includes spin and launch. The result? The Rogue ST reduces spin off the face, which allowed designers to boost forgiveness.
4. Unibody Construction
The Rogue ST drivers’ titanium unibody is responsible for a lower CG and added stability. And with weight savings gained via Callaway’s lightweight carbon-fibre crown and sole, mass has been repositioned to increase forgiveness and create a high launch and a small draw bias.
The Four Callaway Rogue ST Drivers
Callaway completely get that not all golfers are the same. So they created four different versions of the new Rogue ST driver – the Rogue ST MAX, Rogue ST MAX D, Rogue ST MAX LS and Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS. Each one performs slightly differently, to either complement a swing or fix a weakness.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX Driver
With the highest MOI head in the Rogue ST driver line-up, the Rogue ST MAX – also known as the standard model – is a big dog designed for anyone and everyone. The Rogue ST MAX serves up the optimum combination of speed, forgiveness and distance across the talent spectrum and is slightly draw biased.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX D Driver
The Rogue ST MAX D driver is the slice-slayer in the Rogue ST driver collection. It’s big on forgiveness and shape correction, with its elongated profile, more upright lie angle and a heel-side sole weight all combining to help shut the clubface at impact and minimise the distance-sapping left-to-right shot shape.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX LS Driver
Aimed at the lower handicapper, the Rouge ST MAX LS is the low-spin thoroughbred in the Callaway stable. Armed with a stationary rear weight near the rear of the sole, it produces a penetrating trajectory while its low-spinning nature and a neutral ball flight provides more ball-shaping chutzpah.
Callaway Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver
Offering even lower-spinning dynamics than the Rogue ST MAX LS, the Triple Diamond is a tour-ready model for elite ballstrikers. It has a smaller head (450cc), which helps shaping, and a sole weight situated behind the face that kills spin. And with its neutral-leaning-to-fade bias, playability and control come to the fore.
Callaway Rogue ST Driver Features
A selection of premium shafts can be installed on the new Callaway Rogue ST drivers, with custom shaft fitting also an option. A Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip is fitted as standard, with a Winn Dri-Tac 2.0 also offered for women’s models. Rogue ST drivers also feature an adjustable hosel, which can adjust loft two degrees higher or lower.

Callaway Rogue ST Fairway Woods
Callaway Rogue ST fairway woods centre around three key tech key cornerstones that carry over from the brilliant new Rogue ST driver.
There’s the Tungsten Speed cartridge, Jailbreak Speed frame and a new A.I. formed Flash Face Cup. Rogue ST fairways are exceedingly quick and long but they also boast the convenience of having some sky-high MOI, which is a seriously reliable indicator of high levels of forgiveness.
This intersection of speed and forgiveness makes the new Rogue ST fairways a force of the fairways.
Fairway Wood Technology
Tungsten Speed Cartridge
Callaway’s new tungsten speed cartridge has been introduced on the Rogue ST line-up and like the drivers, it’s been a raging success. With 28g of tungsten to play with, the CG was able to be located low and forward – and that has translated into grin-inducing gains in speed and distance.
Jailbreak Speed Frame
A redesign of Callaway’s Jailbreak stiffening system has improved speed and stability in the Rogue ST fairway range. The new Jailbreak batwings extend towards the edge of the face, further strengthening the head. The face flexes more efficiently so more energy gets focused into the ball at impact.
A.I Designed Face
The Callaway supercomputer has pulled off an AI-inspired revamp of the Rogue ST fairway face. Previous AI-designs focused only on ball speed, but the new fairway design is all-encompassing, with launch and spin now in the mix as well. Every loft and model features a unique face optimised by AI.
High Strength Face Cup
Constructed from tough C300 maraging steel, the Rogue ST face is strong yet flexible. Callaway’s Flash Face Cup design on the underside of the face tunes performance by levelling out spin rates and ball speed across the entire face area, leading to fast yet highly forgiving fairway woods.
The Three Callaway Rogue ST Fairway Woods
Callaway’s Rogue ST fairway line-up is a versatile one, with three models to check out - the Rogue ST MAX, Rogue ST MAX D and the Rogue ST LS. Improved speed, forgiveness and performance is the theme throughout the line-up - it’s just done in three very distinctive styles.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX Fairway
The MAX fairway is the model for the fat part of the golfing bell curve and as such, will offer the most kerb appeal for the majority of golfers. Billed and built as the all-rounder in the Rogue ST fairway wood line-up, the MAX features an eye-catching new head shape, which starts at the 3W and goes right up to the 11W.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX D Fairway
It’s taken Callaway until now to produce a dedicated draw-biased fairway wood and it’s called the Rogue ST MAX D fairway. It features a more upright lie angle and launches the highest of the three new fairways, working hand-in-hand with its inherent shot-shaping correction. The MAX D fairway will get a chronic slicer back on centre.
Callaway Rogue ST LS Fairway
The most compact of the Rogue ST fairway trio, the LS is the low-spin model created for the better player. The CG is shifted low and to the front of the head via an extra sole weight screw that sits just behind the face. It reduces spin while also making the LS the most fade-capable fairway wood of the Rogue ST range.
Callaway Rogue ST Fairway Wood Features
A selection of premium shafts can be installed on the new Callaway Rogue ST fairways, with custom shaft fitting also an option. A Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip is fitted as standard, with a Winn Dri-Tac 2.0 also offered for women’s models.

Callaway Rogue ST Hybrids
However you look at it, an easy-launching hybrid will never go astray in anyone’s golf bag. And they don’t get much simpler to use than the new Callaway Rogue ST hybrid.
There are four models in the line-up, with each one distinguishing itself through a unique aspect of performance. And they are longer and more forgiving than any hybrid Callaway has released previously.
If you’re searching for a game-improving hybrid, the Rogue ST just might be the answer.
Hybrid Technology
Jailbreak Speed Frame
A new Jailbreak arrangement enhances speed and forgiveness. The frames are positioned closer to the perimeter, strengthening the head and boosting face flex.
A.I Designed Face Club
Every loft in each Rogue ST hybrid model boasts its own a unique 455 Face Cup, which has been designed by AI to optimise speed, spin and launch.
4. Precision Tungsten
There’s up to 24g of the good stuff in every Rogue ST hybrid, with high-density tungsten precisely spliced where it’s needed, to optimise launch and boost speed.
The Four Callaway Rogue ST Hybrids
Callaway completely get that not all golfers are the same. So they created four different versions of the new Rogue ST driver – the Rogue ST MAX, Rogue ST MAX D, Rogue ST MAX LS and Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS. Each one performs slightly differently, to either complement a swing or fix a weakness.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX Hybrid
More iron-like in shape and featuring slightly stronger lofts than other hybrids in the range, the MAX is the longest in the line-up. It will fit the majority of golfers, especially those who are grateful for some game-improvement goodness, and a redesigned sole performs better through the turf at impact.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX OS Hybrid
It’s big and it’s a beautiful performer. The MAX OS hybrid has an oversized head that offers the most forgiveness in the Rogue ST hybrid range. Yes, it’s closer to fairway wood than iron as far as hybrids go but it has a hint of draw bias added in for good measure - and that’ll boost your confidence if you tend to dice and slice.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX OS Lite Hybrid
If you’re after a hybrid that is light in weight but by no means a light weight in performance terms, the MAX OS Lite is your selection. Lightweight componentry, including up to 15g of tungsten, literally lightens the load. The MAX OS Lite will help players with slow swing speeds crank their hybrid performance up to 11.
Callaway Rogue ST Pro Hybrid
The noticeably shallower face on the Pro hybrid will appeal to better golfers, as will its new sole camber that makes it a versatile yet reliable performer through any turf conditions. Compact and shaped more like a fairway wood than iron, the Pro hybrid features a completely neutral CG, so shaping the ball is a breeze.
Callaway Rogue ST Hybrid Features
A selection of premium shafts can be installed on the new Callaway Rogue ST hybrids, with custom shaft fitting also an option. A Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip is fitted as standard, with a Winn Dri-Tac 2.0 also offered for women’s models.

Callaway Rogue ST Irons
For golfers who have neither the time nor money to invest in lessons to improve their golf swing, there’s always the Callaway Rogue ST iron range.
They are irons that perfectly capture the spirit of “game improvement” clubs by helping players have a little more enjoyment on the course and circumventing the whole “practice harder” mantra that is preached ad nauseum.
There are four customised models to choose from, with each holding to the “speed equals distance” maxim but delivering it via an assortment of unique methods.
Golf is hard. But if you’re up for a little assistance, the Rogue ST iron range is ready to help.
Iron Technology
A.I Designed Face Cup and Face
The 450 Flash Face Cup – the component which flexes and releases at impact – has been created by A.I., and the same goes for the new Rogue ST face. A unique design for each iron loft makes the irons faster, longer and more consistent.
Tungsten Weighting
Launch and speed have been supersized in the Rogue ST iron collection with the addition of more tungsten. Up to 62g of the high-density metal is employed in each head - a massive 260 per cent increase on Callaway’s Mavrik irons.
Urethane Microspheres
Callaway’s feel-inducing microspheres expand their territory in Rogue ST irons. The microsphere-embedded urethane that supports the Face Cup now extends to the sixth groove, enhancing impact acoustics and killing bad vibrations more effectively.
The Four Callaway Rogue ST Irons
Nailing the brief to become the game’s premier distance iron is one thing but offering exceptional performance across four different models is quite another. Playing the right irons for your game has never been easier – just peruse and choose the Rogue ST iron model to suit your game.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX Irons
Rogue ST MAX irons are versatile irons targeted at a wide proportion of golfers. Their game-improvement stylings will lift the confidence of players who need to find a bit of fizz off the face. And with the strongest lofts of any Rogue ST iron, finding that crucial extra distance is easy.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX OS Irons
Oversized irons tuned specifically for mid-to-high handicappers, Rogue ST MAX OS irons are an absolute cinch to launch high and long. And with wider soles and more offset, MAX OS irons will extract every drop of performance out of players who could really do with some extra help.
Callaway Rogue ST MAX OS Lite Irons
If you swing it easy, head straight to the Rogue ST MAX OS Lite irons. Lighter shafts, lighter swingweights and a unique tungsten weighting configuration result in effortless performance for players with slower swing speeds. And with more loft, they are tuned for high-launching distance.
Callaway Rogue ST Pro Irons
The most compact iron in the Rogue ST range, the Pro is a hollow-bodied distance iron fused with player’s iron-like playability. Targeted at low single digit handicappers, Pro irons look, feel and perform like a player’s iron yet fly much further and are significantly more forgiving.
