PING 2024 PUTTERS

PING have added another six models to their “New PING Putter” line-up in 2024, with three new blades and three new mallets expanding the range to 16 putters.

There’s something for everyone, too. The new Fetch and Ketch G models are high MOI mallets, the Anser 2 and B60 are classic blade putters while the Tyne H and Anser D putters fall somewhere in between a blade and mallet putter.

The composition of the new PING putter line-up is intended to offer an all-encompassing range of performance.

There are face-balanced models to suit straight-back-and-through strokes while players with an arc to their stroke haven’t been forgotten, with models tuned to match slight, moderate, and severely arcing strokes.

PING have also mixed up the face technology within the range. A new shallow-milled face pattern appears on four of the putters, with PING confident the cross-hatched texture will promote a solid, intuitive feel and a more consistent roll. And PING’s renowned PEBAX face insert features on the high MOI mallets in the new range, offering a smooth roll for players who prefer a soft feel at impact.

Meanwhile, a variety of alignment lines and geometric head shapes offer a plethora of options to suit just about anyone’s eye. And last but by no means least, the PING range also features two different finishes: an unfurnished silver that reduces glare, and PING’s distinctive, high-contrast, durable black PLD finish.

PING ANSER 2

2024 PING Putters - Anser 2

Based on the timeless design of the classic PING Anser putter, the new Anser 2 doesn’t stray too far from its lane. Featuring a classic heel-toe weighted design and plumber’s neck hosel just like the original Anser, the Anser 2 features a longer and narrower profile and sharper edges. A new shallow-milled face offers superior feel while a fresh new sole design differentiates the new PING Anser 2 from its predecessors.

PING ANSER D

2024 PING Putters - Anser D

Aimed at bridging the gap between PING’s blades and mallets, the Anser D’s deep profile is its most significant feature. The extra mass of the Anser D elevates stability and maximises forgiveness, all achieved without tungsten weighting. The addition of PING’s new shallow-milled face texture purifies the Anser D’s roll while elevating feel off the face.

PING B60

PING’s new B60 sticks with the beloved shape that made it a favourite throughout the 80s and 90s, its thin top line and unique rear bumper curvature making it instantly recognisable. However, the latest PING B60 has received a tune-up in the form of PING’s new shallow-milled face texture, which provides a more consistent roll and improved feel.

PING FETCH

2024 PING Putters - Fetch

The PING Fetch, so called for the ball-sized rear section cut-out that can rather handily be employed to pluck a ball from the hole, is loaded with impressive levels of MOI and stability. The mallet features dual alignment lines and its PEBAX face insert delivers a smooth roll and soft feel.

PING KETSCH G

2024 PING Putters - Ketsch G

Like the Fetch, the PING Ketsch G is appointed with a ball-grasping feature. But the ball-sized hole situated on the Ketsch G’s steel sole plate is more than just a convenience: it also serves to optimise the Ketsch G’s centre of gravity to produce extreme MOI and impressive stability, in partnership with the putter’s aluminium body. The Ketsch G’s trio of alignment lines is an eye-catching aiming aid while the mallet’s PEBAX insert offers a softer feel than previous Ketsch models.

PING TYNE H

2024 PING Putters - Tyne H

Like many fanged mallets, the PING Tyne H relies on its unique perimeter-weighted properties to generate stable and consistent performance. However, the Tyne H is matched with a Anser-esque plumber’s neck hosel that juxtaposes a high-level of head stability with toe-hang characteristics. The ball-width cavity and white-on-black alignment line make the Tyne H simple to get square.
