Tiger Woods doesn't just move the needle in golf; he IS the needle.
The most famous golfer to have ever played the most impossible of games is an obsessive perfectionist when it comes to his golf clubs. Tiger's attention to detail and tinkering is legendary, with fitting sessions for new equipment stretching multiple days until he finally commits; it might break a few club technicians in the process but it's a major-winning formula.
Bottom line is, if it doesn't feel right, it ain't going in Tiger's bag, so the clubs that do make the cut almost become celebrities by association themselves - like a Hemsworth brother of the non-Liam variety.
After a near career-ending injury in 2021, Tiger returned at the Masters in 2022 before competing with son Charlie in the PNC Championship later that year.
Tiger played a limited schedule in 2024. He made his first appearance of the year at the Genesis Invitational at Riviera in LA. (Feb 15–18, 2024) but withdrew due to illness following the first round. His only other appearances in 2024 came at the majors. Tiger finished 60th at the Masters but missed the cut at the PGA Championship, US Open and Open Championship.

Let's take a look what's inside Tiger Woods bag:
TIGER WOODS DRIVER
The new TaylorMade Qi10 LS driver went straight into Tiger’s bag in 2024, which is always an excellent indication of its superior tee-ball performance.
The Qi10 LS is the low-spin/low-launch model in the Qi10 driver line-up. It has the most compact profile and features an 18g sliding weight system that is neatly stowed away on the sole. It can dial in either a draw or fade bias, but Tiger has it positioned for a neutral ball flight.
The Qi10 LS features a lightweight carbon fibre face and Infinity crown and it’s a winning combination of ball speed and forgiveness.
Sixty layers of carbon fibre are bonded together to form the new Qi10 face. It offers a massive sweet spot that maintains ball speed from strikes all over the face. And while Tiger tends to hit it dead centre most of the time, TaylorMade’s flight-straightening Twist Face technology is also available to lend him a helping hand.
Tiger will also notice the Qi10’s carbon fibre Infinity crown is bigger. Its lightweight properties enabled TaylorMade to redirect extra mass deeper in the head, boosting the driver’s MOI and stability and promoting more forgiveness.
Tiger’s Qi10 LS driver is fitted with a Graphite Design Tour AD VF 6 X shaft.
OLD DRIVER: TAYLORMADE STEALTH PLUS+ (9°)
Tiger Tiger put the new TaylorMade Stealth Plus+ driver in the bag at the Masters, his comeback event after a 14-month injury-enforced absence. The Stealth Plus+ driver features a nanotexture coated carbon fibre face that is 44 per cent lighter than titanium and directs more energy into the ball.
That means more distance off the tee for Tiger but the Stealth Plus+ is also more forgiving when the Big Cat doesn’t quite nail it out of the middle. And the new nanotexture coating makes the Stealth Plus+ the most consistent TaylorMade driver ever, with spin rates even in both damp and dry conditions. But when you’re Tiger Woods everything has to be spot on, right? To that end, TaylorMade fine-tuned the sound and feel of the carbon fibre face on the Stealth Plus+ driver to get it exactly right. Tiger has a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 60 TX shaft fitted to his driver.
TIGER WOODS FAIRWAY WOODS
TAYLORMADE Qi10 Tour (3W 15°), TAYLORMADE M3 (5W 15°)
Tiger’s Qi10 Tour three wood is the most compact of the Qi10 fairway wood range and features a titanium face and body. A replacement for the Stealth 2 Plus fairway wood, the Qi10 Tour offers a high level of workability and a huge 50g sole weight gives Tiger the ability to tinker with the fairway’s launch properties. Tiger’s trusty 19° M3 five wood is easy to launch and features fade and draw shaping bias through a sliding weight on the sole. It is paired with a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 80 TX shaft.
OLD FAIRWAY WOOD: TAYLORMADE SIM Ti 15° FAIRWAY WOOD L
Tiger put his 15° TaylorMade SIM Ti fairway wood at the ZOZO Championship at Sherwood Country Club in October, 2020. It features a titanium body, steel sole and carbon fibre crown that is designed for high-launching distance, but Tiger has it set at 14° to produce a slightly lower and more penetrating flight. It is matched to a 42.5 inch Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 70 TX shaft.
TIGER WOODS IRONS
TAYLORMADE P770 (3), TAYLORMADE P7TW (4-PW)
Tiger’s precision iron play is reliant on exceptional feel and control, qualities his custom-made TaylorMade P7TW irons exude. They’re muscleback blades made specifically to Tiger’s exacting specifications and his set consists of 4-PW.
His Limited Edition P7TW Irons are no longer available to purchase, but they are based around TaylorMade’s P7MB blades. P7MB irons are a contemporary take on classic muscleback blades, with clean lines and short blade lengths aiding workability throughout the set.
Forged for sensitive feel, P7MB irons also feature negligible offset, a thin top line and narrow sole. They deliver premium control and precise shot shaping for players who, like Tiger, are elite ballstrikers.
Tiger added a TaylorMade P770 three iron into his set and it offers high-launching distance.
The P770 is a hollow-bodied distance iron. Tungsten weights inside the head boost MOI and stability, while TaylorMade’s patented SpeedFoam supports the face and creates speed and distance.
A Thru-Slot Speed Pocket on the sole provides extra forgiveness for strikes low on the face.
TIGER WOODS WEDGES
TAYLORMADE MG4 TW WEDGES (56°/12°, 60°/11°)
Having a line of TaylorMade wedges named after you is warranted when you’re Tiger Woods.
Tiger plays his TW version of TaylorMade’s Milled Grind 4 wedges, which are precision milled for consistency and feature a raw finish that rusts over time.
TaylorMade MG4 TW wedges feature a laser-etched face and sharp grooves that generate the spin profile Tiger requires to suit his short game.
As you’d expect, MG4 TW wedges also have Tiger’s preferred grind pattern on the sole, which has relief taken out of the leading and trailing edges as well as the heel.
Tiger’s 56° wedge has 12° of bounce while his 60° model has 11° of bounce.

PREVIOUS WEDGES: TAYLORMADE MILLED GRIND 2 WEDGES
Tiger put the TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 60° wedge in his bag for the 2019 ZOZO championship in Japan, where he clinched his record-equalling 82nd tour win. He introduced the 56° wedge prior to the Open Championship in July and the wedges seem to have resonated with Big Cat.
With consistency one of the buzzwords Tiger seems to utter before and after every round, TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 wedges are engineered for said consistency through a CNC-milling process. They feature classic sharp lines and milled soles, laser-etched faces for extra spin and two grinds: a low bounce or standard bounce.
Tiger's exact grind pattern has relief taken out of both the leading and trailing edges and out of the heel.
TIGER WOODS PUTTER
SCOTTY CAMERON NEWPORT 2 GSS with PING PP58 BLACKOUT GRIP
It's holed the putts to win 14 of Tiger's 15 majors and there seems to be no stopping Tiger's love affair ... err, special relationship, with his 20-year-old Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS putter.
He's also remained loyal to the PING PP58 Blackout grip on the putter, which has become almost an extension of Tiger himself. Putters come and go but Tiger's Scotty Cameron Newport ain't broke and it certainly doesn't need fixing.
NOTE: Tigers SC Newport 2 GSS Putter is custom made just for him and not available to the general public. The SC Newport 2 is the closest production model available.
The new putter is a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Timeless prototype, which is similar to his trusty old putter but features weight ports in the sole that can be adjusted to suit different green speeds.
The new putter has also been fitted with a longer shaft, primarily to ease the strain on Tiger’s back and help him to practise for longer periods of time.
How long the new putter lasts in Tiger’s bag will ultimately depend on its performance but the cherished major winning Scotty Cameron putter isn’t going anywhere – Tiger is so enamoured with it, it’s believed he won’t even let his 11-year-old son Charlie use it.
TIGER WOODS GOLF BALL
Tiger made the switch to the Bridgestone Tour B X golf ball in 2023 after previously using the B XS model.
While the B XS ball that Tiger developed in partnership with Bridgestone spins more and offers greater workability, the switch to the B X makes sense.
You feel with a body banged up with injuries and trauma, generating extra distance off the tee is now a priority for Tiger.
Because the B X doesn’t spin as much in the air on full shots, Tiger is able to increase both his carry distance and total distance - without any loss of greenside spin.
