Callaway Elyte TD Tour Draw and TD Max Drivers
Posted by GolfBox on 2nd Apr 2025
Looking for new driver that comes with a bit of tour sauce? Well, you’re in luck.
The new Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond Tour Draw and Elyte Triple Diamond Max are niche driver offerings made specifically for tour use. In other words, they’re designed to placate those whining tour pros.
Alongside the simultaneous release of the Elyte mini driver, the new Elyte TD Max and TD Tour Draw releases bump the total number of Elyte driver models up to seven. And while they’re niche offshoots of the standard Elyte Triple Diamond, they could provide the launch/spin profile you’ve been looking for.
Ready to find out? Let’s go!
CALLAWAY ELYTE TRIPLE DIAMOND TOUR DRAW DRIVER
The Tour Draw was created because several Callaway tour pros felt the “standard” Elyte Triple Diamond driver was a bit of a fade machine. On holes that required a draw off the tee, it was a battle to turn the ball over, which caused plenty of frustration and missed prize money. And in our experience, anything getting in the way of a tour pro cashing cheques is a problem that necessitates an immediate solution.
Which conveniently brings us to the new TD Tour Draw. The driver features the same head size and shape as the regular Triple Diamond. But it has a little more weight in the heel-side which helps the head turn over easier, thus creating a more drawable driver off the tee.
For the tour pros, the Tour Draw is a path towards greater riches; for everyone else, what’s there not to like about hitting a high, sweeping, draw off the tee?
So, if you like the more compact look and enhanced workability of Triple Diamond drivers but want to hit draws off the tee more effortlessly (and let’s face it, who doesn’t) the Elyte TD TD might be a viable option.
We should clarify the TD stamped on the sole does indicate Tour Draw. The new TD TD driver is not a Triple Diamond version of the existing Triple Diamond driver.
Glad we’ve cleared that up.
CALLAWAY ELYTE TRIPLE DIAMOND MAX DRIVER
The new Elyte Triple Diamond Max driver was created to pacify those Callaway tour pros who pine for more spin and forgiveness but prefer the more compact shape and workability of the Triple Diamond.
But the new Elyte Triple Diamond Max driver isn’t quite as straight forward as you might think. Stick with us. It’s really quite interesting.
The TD Max is the only Triple Diamond driver model to feature the maximum capacity 460cc head. It blends the bigger footprint of the standard 460cc Elyte driver with the shaping and profile of the Elyte Triple Diamond driver.
Confused?
Put it this way. It replicates the enhanced-aero shaping of the standard Triple Diamond but has a larger profile.
And that larger profile is what has allowed Callaway to tune more spin and forgiveness into the TD Max.
So, if you want to still shape the ball and want launch it off the tee with more spin and height than the standard Triple Diamond driver, the TD Max is the solution to your unfortunate predicament.

Both drivers feature all the usual Elyte Triple Diamond fixtures:
- front and rear sole weighting to further finetune launch and spin.
- 10x Ai face for mis-hit protection and forgiveness
- lightweight thermoforged carbon fibre crown that optimises the centre of gravity for more penetrating, low-spin, launch profile.
- aerodynamic shaping that promotes workability
The TD Tour Draw and TD Max drivers are both installed with a Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei 1K Black shaft as standard and are available in 9°, 10.5° lofts.
