Justin Rose What's in the bag? (2025)

Justin Rose What's in the bag? (2025)

Posted by GolfBox on 15th Apr 2025

Justin Rose is a major champion, Olympic gold medallist, former world No.1, and one of the classiest golfers on the planet.

Affectionately known as Rosey, the Englishman turned pro immediately after he finished fourth at the 1998 Open Championship as a 17-year-old amateur. After missing 21 straight cuts to start his career, Rose dug deep and fought his way to the top. He won his first and only major at the 2013 US Open at Merion and ascended to world No.1 in 2018.

A winner of 25 tournaments around the globe, Rose claimed the gold medal for Great Britain at the 2016 Rio Olympics and has represented Europe at six Ryder Cups.

Justin Rose is enjoying a late-career resurgence, finishing runner-up at the 2024 Open Championship and 2025 Masters, where he was beaten in a play-off. Let's take a look inside Justin Rose's bag:

Which clubs does Justin Rose use?

JUSTIN ROSE DRIVER

TITLEIST TSR3 (9°)
Justin’s Titleist TSR3 driver offers a blend of speed and stability, along with the benefit of adjustable ball flight tuning.

The TSR3’s pear-shaped head and ‘boat tail’ rear enhances aerodynamic performance, elevating club head speed for distance gains. Its face architecture includes a Speed Ring, which is designed to boost speed out of the sweet spot while minimising speed penalties associated with mishits.

The TSR3 also includes a Surefit CG track, with an 8g rear weight able to set-up a draw or fade bias depending on which of the five slots it’s positioned it (Justin has it set in the neutral position so he can fade and draw the ball off the tee).

The Titleist TSR3 was replaced by the current Titleist GT3 driver.

Justin has a Mitsubishi Diamana WB 63 TX shaft paired with his TSR3 driver.

JUSTIN ROSE FAIRWAY WOODS

TAYLORMADE M6 (3W: 15°, 7W: 21°)

A pair of TaylorMade M6 fairway woods have been in Justin’s bag since they were released in 2019. Clearly, they click with his game…

They both feature a Twist Face and Speed Pocket, technologies that have carried through to the current TaylorMade Qi35 fairway woods. The Twist Face straightens up strikes from the heel and toe while the Speed Pocket increases the flexibility of the face to improve the performance of low strikes.

TaylorMade M6 fairway woods also feature a carbon fibre crown, which promotes a high launch and increases stability. Justin has a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 80 TX fitted to both M6 fairway woods.

JUSTIN ROSE IRONS

TITLEIST 620 CB (4,5), MIURA MC-502 (6-PW)
As an equipment free agent, Justin employs a unique iron setup that reveals an appreciation for classic head shapes and pure feel.

His four and five irons are Titleist 620 CB irons. The player’s irons offer precision, playability and impressive feel. Featuring a classic cavity-back design, Titleist 620 CB irons offer Justin a higher ball flight and a little more forgiveness in his longer irons.

Meanwhile, Justin’s Miura MC-502 short irons are similarly refined. They are forged irons that combine the appearance and performance of a muscleback blade with the capabilities of a compact cavity-back iron, which makes them easy to hit. They also possess the inimitable Miura feel and performance the bespoke Japanese manufacturer is renowned for.

Justin Rose’s irons are installed with KBS C-Taper 125 S+ shafts.

JUSTIN ROSE WEDGES

TITLEIST VOKEY SM10 (52°, 56°), CLEVELAND RTZ (60°)
Rosey’s impeccable wedge game stacks up well under pressure, helping him stick it close to the pin for birdie chances and extricating him from tricky situations when needed.

His lower lofted wedges are Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges, which provide him with precise control and superb stopping power — especially out of the rough — through their progressive centre of gravity and spin milled grooves.

The Vokey SM10 range features six grind options (T,M,S,D,F,K). Justin plays the all-purpose F grind in his 46° and the higher bounce S-grind in his 56° wedge.

Meanwhile, Justin plays a Cleveland RTZ for his 60° wedge. Made from Cleveland’s own soft, low-density Z-Alloy, RTZ wedges feature a higher centre of gravity while retaining a classic, tour-bred appearance.

True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Onyx S400 shafts feature on all three of Rosey’s wedges.

JUSTIN ROSE PUTTER

SCOTTY CAMERON PHANTOM T-5 TOUR PROTOTYPE
Justin plays a Scotty Cameron Circle T Phantom T-5 prototype mallet. It’s a tour-only flatstick that features wings for enhanced stability and alignment and is similar to the retail model Scotty Cameron Phantom X5 putter.

It features a double bend shaft for near face-balanced performance.

JUSTIN ROSE GOLF BALL

2025 TITLEIST PRO V1X

Justin plays the Titleist Pro V1x ball, a higher-launching, higher-spinning model compared to the Pro V1.

A four-layer ball featuring a compression in the high 90s, the Pro V1x offers a firmer feel and spins more around the greens and less with the driver and long irons than the previous 2023 Pro V1x.
