Sergio Garcia What's In The Bag? (2025)
Posted by GolfBox on 23rd Apr 2025
Regarded as one of the best ball strikers in history, Sergio Garcia has enjoyed a long and successful career. The talented Spaniard has been in the spotlight ever since he burst on the scene as a talented teenage amateur and won his first tournament at just his sixth start as a professional. He has since won 38 times around the world, including his sole major victory at the 2017 Masters.
Sergio Garcia is a star on the LIV Golf Tour where he captains the Fireballs. He won LIV Hong Kong early in 2025, the second LIV title of his career.
An equipment free agent, here are the clubs in Sergio Garcia’s bag:
Which clubs does Sergio Garcia use?
SERGIO GARCIA DRIVER
Sergio plays a Titleist GT3 driver, a club designed for speed, forgiveness and adjustability off the tee.
It boasts an aerodynamic shape that maximises club head speed through the air, while its Speed Ring VFT face design minimises ball speed penalties when Sergio hits it off-centre. The GT3’s lightweight thermoform crown saves mass, which is redistributed to more beneficial areas of the driver to optimise launch and distance.
The GT3 also features an adjustable weight track, which Sergio can use to set the driver up with a fade or draw bias. Sergio's Titleist GT3 driver is installed with a Fujikura Ventus Black 6 X shaft.
SERGIO GARCIA FAIRWAY WOODS
TAYLORMADE BRNR MINI DRIVER (13°), TAYLORMADE Qi10 TOUR (5W: 18°)
Sergio carries a pair of TaylorMade fairway woods in his bag. His longest fairway wood is actually a TaylorMade BRNR mini driver, which he uses mostly off the tee on tight driving holes.
The 306cc BRNR mini driver is a throwback to the Burner drivers TaylorMade released in the late 1990s. It features many of Taylormade’s proven driver technologies, including Twist Face and Speed Pocket.
Meanwhile, Sergio's TaylorMade Qi10 Tour five wood is designed for highly personalised performance. It features a titanium head, carbon fibre Infinity Crown and an adjustable weight track, which allows Sergio to dial in the spin and launch profile he requires for long approach shots from the fairway or when playing for accuracy off the tee.
SERGIO GARCIA IRONS
TAYLORMADE P7MC (4-PW), TAYLORMADE P770 (3)
Sergio’s set of TaylorMade P7MC irons are classic player’s irons made for elite ball strikers.
Constructed using TaylorMade’s compact grain forging process — which is said to retain the natural grain structure of the steel to elevate feel — P7MC irons offer Sergio a little more forgiveness than his previous P7MB muscleback blade irons. Featuring a compact head shape for responsive performance, P7MC irons provide Sergio with the ability to flight and shape his iron shots at will.
At the top end of the bag, Sergio plays a TaylorMade P770 three iron. Its hollow-bodied design is packed with technology that offers extra forgiveness and allows Sergio to hit his long irons higher and further. It features a thin, flexible face for faster ball speeds. Internal tungsten weighting improves launch while a speed slot on the sole offers forgiveness for strikes low on the face.
Sergio plays LA Golf shafts in all his irons.
SERGIO GARCIA WEDGES
TITLEIST VOKEY SM9 (54°), VOKEY DESIGNS WEDGEWORKS PROTOTYPE (58°)
Sergio relies on a pair of Titleist Vokey SM9 wedges to play a variety of shots around, and into, the greens.
Featuring 16 spin milled grooves extending all the way to the edge of the face, Vokey SM9 wedges also feature a microgroove texture cut into the face between each groove that creates extra grip and spin. The wedges also feature a progressive centre of gravity that maximises spin and playability and allows Sergio’s Spanish hands to work their magic around the greens.
Sergio plays a high bounce D grind in his 54° wedge. Vokey SM9 wedges have been superceded by Vokey SM10 wedges.
Meanwhile, Sergio’s 58° wedge is a Vokey Wedgeworks prototype. It’s fitted with Vokey’s T grind which features aggressive heel, toe and trailing edge relief, providing Sergio with the ability to manipulate the face at will to execute every kind of shot around the green.
Sergio's wedges are fitted with LA Golf shafts.
SERGIO GARCIA PUTTER
ODYSSEY TOULON GARAGE AUSTIN
Sergio is a noted tinkerer with his flatstick, regularly swapping between a variety of mallet and blade putters throughout his career.
His current putter is an Odyssey Toulon Garage Austin putter, a blade putter that offers a classic Anser-style look. It features a plumber’s neck hosel that sets up a significant amount of toe hang, however, it doesn’t have the famous Toulon milled face. Sergio has opted for an unmilled face on his Toulon Garage Austin putter.
SERGIO GARCIA GOLF BALL
Sergio plays the five-piece 2024 TaylorMade TP5x ball. Featuring a Speed Wrapped Core, the TP5x will spin less with the driver and long irons to maximise distance, but spin more around the green and with the short irons.
It features a higher compression than the Taylormade TP5 golf ball for a firmer feel.
